THE WALKTHROUGH, STEP BY STEP

Read the transcript.

  1. Start with your register. Search and review the equipment managed by an example team. The records and people in this walkthrough are fictional.
  2. Add an asset. Enter its description, category and recorded location. A manufacturer serial number is optional. The application generates a unique asset tag when the record is saved.
  3. Open the saved record. See the equipment's location, status and availability before recording a handoff. A recorded location is not live GPS tracking.
  4. Check it out. Choose the example person receiving the equipment and record the assignment. Staff logins and equipment assignees have separate purposes.
  5. Review who has it. The asset record shows the assignee and checkout entry, giving the team a shared reference for responsibility.
  6. Record its return. Choose the return location and condition so the next person has an understandable starting point.
  7. Follow the history. Review the asset's creation, checkout and return. The history explains recorded actions rather than continuously monitoring the physical equipment.
YOUR WORKSPACE

One shared register.

The current office candidate stores equipment on a customer-owned Windows server. Staff connect through browsers on the office network, using individual accounts and administrator, operator or viewer roles.

YOUR SETUP

Your own useful details.

Configure categories, locations and custom fields around a real equipment list. CSV import and export help you start from existing records. Inventory checks and optional service and warranty dates extend the register.

CURRENT AVAILABILITY

A considered evaluation.

This is an active-development private candidate. The interface still uses its earlier IronTrace working name. Scanner integrations, reservations and true offline mobile synchronization are not included promises.

MAKE THE DEMO RELEVANT TO YOUR TEAM

Start with a task worth simplifying.

Tell us what you track, where handoffs happen and which step costs your team time. We can discuss a small evaluation with a sample list, clear scope and agreed responsibilities. This page does not accept payments, create an account or book an installation.
